Souk Communications 151 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, WC2H

The Project
The Design and fast track Fitting Out of 6,000 sq ft of offices including boardroom, open plan Sales and Marketing area, Creative Department, Break Out Space, and comms room, plus a dynamic feature reception.

Client Objectives
Souk required their offices to reflect a more creative and 'funky' image within the industry to impress Clients and attract high quality Staff.

The new image was used to provide the launch pad for the new branding of the group resulting from recent acquisitions.

The business had worked on two highly cellularised floors that were hindering team working and communication and the objective was to move to a modern single floor planned to encourage team working and creativity.

Achieve greater economies of scale in running costs which were not possible in the former space as it was too cellularised and inflexible.

Key Facts
The company needed to work in teams, not in little rooms, hence the need for open plan with a modern desking system.

Plans, mood boards and visuals were prepared and presented in open forum to all the Staff, including 7 project sponsors from senior Staff, to gain feedback and achieve 'buy in.'

The design included a new area for the Creative Department, involving a limited degree of screening to provide quiet space and confidentiality and to ensure communication with the other teams.
