The Project
The Project Management of the full professional team of Designers, M&E Engineers, IT Consultants, Acoustic Specialists and Contractors for the Design and fitting out of 38,000 sq ft of new office space in the old Barclays building plus the relocation of over 300 Staff to the new building over 2 weekends.

Client Objectives
To identify new office space that would offer good quality accommodation within a fixed budget. The new space needed to be within a 10 minute walk of the Lloyds Building. The new space should be able to accommodate the future Staff expansion plans.

Key Facts
Three buildings were shortlisted and appraised by the team. This involved space planning each building to demonstrate efficiency of space and flexibility for future growth. The M&E systems were checked out by the Engineers at each building in terms of design and working. The 2 floors at 20 Gracechurch Street were fitted out in 14 weeks and handed over on time and within budget. The space provides Client meeting facilities, general offices and Staff break out area plus showers. Leading edge technology was incorporated including "follow me" printing, meeting room booking system and a wireless infrastructure for flexible working.
