The Project
Design and Project Management of the refurbishment of the HQ Office, including DDA works and installation of new furniture and a storewall storage system.
Client Objectives
To move from cellular offices to an open plan environment in order to improve communications and team working.
To create a new, modern image to Clients and staff in the reception, general offices and meeting areas.
Key Facts
The major objective was to change the culture of the organization by moving from cellular to open plan and convince people of the benefits of improved communications and an improved working environment that this would bring. New furniture was installed and a break out area designed to achieve these objectives.
The existing board room was refurbished in keeping with its traditional style of mahogany paneling and included modern presentation and video conferencing facilities.
Storage was a big issue and a storewall system was introduced throughout the open plan areas.
