Danske Bank 75 King William Street, London, EC4 The Project Total refurbishment of a 14,000 sq ft floor to provide new Client Areas, Trading Floor, Large Comms Room, Reception and general offices. Client Objectives The Bank needed to down size from two floors to one and demonstrate to Staff that this was a positive move by creating a new environment in line the Bank's corporate design standards set by the Head Office in Copenhagen. The project had to be procured within a fixed budget and limited time frame (10 weeks on site). Key Facts We worked with the Bank's in house Design and IT teams who have corporate standards that need to be adhered to. The overall image needed to reflect the design standards from Copenhagen including simple clean finishes, timber flooring and Danish furniture. We project managed the whole IT infrastructure working with IBM, who advise the Bank on a global basis. The Comms Room included 16 cabinets and the Trading Floor had new dealing desks to accommodate 60 traders. The relocation of all Staff, equipment and IT commissioning was successfully completed over a single weekend, with no disruption to the business.
