The Project
Project Management of a relocation of 180 Staff onto an 18,000 sq ft floor including the management and selection of M&E Consultants, IT Specialists and Main Contractor. Subsequently the Client took a further 15,000 sq ft on another floor to accommodate more Staff and to create a Training Facility, Presentation Room and a Main Board Room.

Client Objectives

To space plan as many people as possible into the open plan areas and create a series of candidate interview rooms that offered acoustic and visual privacy. The whole project was to be delivered within a fixed budget and short timescale.

Key Facts
We played a key role in working with the Client's Commercial Agent and Lawyer to negotiate:
  • The Comms Room to be included in the demise - value £35,000
  • Capital contribution of £15,000 from the Landlord to upgrade lighting to comply
    with LG7
  • Instigation of Mechanical survey which revealed £80,000 worth of defects which
    the landlord had to rectify
  • Capital contribution of £15,000 from the Landlord to install a Disabled WC
