Association of Accounting Technicians, 154 Aldersgate Street, London EC1 The Project Due to an upcoming lease expiry AAT had to relocate all their staff from 2 highly cellularised buildings across 8 floors. The objective was to create a more open and friendly working environment that enabled better staff communications as well as reflecting a modern AAT brand. Client Objectives AAT's main objective was to create a new working environment that reflected AAT brand values and reinforced the organisation's status and reputation in the accountancy profession. At the same time AAT required a cost effective and flexible infrastructure for the future that allowed for changes in operational and financial management. As the project was "designed by committee" every one of the Client`s 152 staff members were consulted during the process. The outcome of the consultation process resulted in the acquisition of 15,000 sq ft on 2 floors of a single building. The following benefits were established as a result of the design:
